This ballet does not recount the origins, the centuries of diaspora, the recent past and the present. It explores the feeling that has formed in our collective consciousness, a sediment left by the history of the Jews, which has always intermingled with other histories and cultures, as in a relentless process of osmosis without, however, altering the fundamentals of Jewish culture.
